The South Core Tunnel is a tunnel in the Magmoor Caverns. The room is extremely hot and will damage Samus if she does not have the Varia Suit. The tunnel connects the Geothermal Core to the Magmoor Workstation. The center of the room has a pool of lava with a Puddle Spore in it, along with a fire jet. There are two Burrowers on the Core side of the room. The door to the Core is also a Purple Door.
