So Mk a while ago brought up the point that when people use "Metroid" they're usually referring to this, Metroid, the game. So we could move Metroid (game) to Metroid and add an <nowiki>{{articleabout}}</nowiki> linking to Metroid (disambiguation). I would assume the same would apply to Metroid Prime, thoughts? {{:User:Malake256/sig}} 18:33, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

:I wouldn't think that the game is used the vast majority of the time in writing. However, our statistics page actually says that the species page for Metroids are more viewed, and those may be more iconic. Basically, what my opinion boils down to is this: I have no problem moving the most commonly used term for Metroid (or Metroid Prime) so long as it's reflective of the data (which I don't have much of to base any suggestions off of, unfortunately). {{User:Bop1996/sig}} 18:57, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

::I was way way wrong, according to our Google Analytics data, 72% of viewers who go to [[Metroid (disambiguation)]] proceed to [[Metroid (species)]], compared to the 17% who go to the article about the game. So with this taken into consideration, I believe it would be best to keep it as it is now. {{:User:Metroidking/sig}} 02:31, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

So Mk a while ago brought up the point that when people use "Metroid" they're usually referring to this, Metroid, the game. So we could move Metroid (game) to Metroid and add an {{articleabout}} linking to Metroid (disambiguation). I would assume the same would apply to Metroid Prime, thoughts? --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 18:33, 22 February 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I wouldn't think that the game is used the vast majority of the time in writing. I was way way wrong, according to our Google Analytics data, 72% of viewers who go to Metroid (disambiguation) proceed to Metroid (species), compared to the 17% who go to the article about the game. So with this taken into consideration, I believe it would be best to keep it as it is now. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 02:31, 23 February 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
