The Phazon Enhancement Device, abbreviated PED, is a military technology developed by the Galactic Federation. This device enables an individual to harness the destructive power of Phazon for use in battle. The Galactic Federation Marines currently use the PEDs to defend against raids made by Space Pirates.

The PED was most notably used by the Bounty Hunters Samus Aran, Ghor, Rundas, and Gandrayda in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
