The Hyper Ball before it is aquired. The Hyper Ball, or Hyperball, is the first Hypermode upgrade in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. It is obtained after defeating Mogenar in Bryyo's Leviathan. It is similar to the Power Bomb, although it has less devastating power. When Samus is in Morph Ball Mode and activates Hypermode, she can send out what looks like streams of electricity into enemies. The electricity's range is up to five meters and can attack enemies that are in the air. This upgrade is very useful against Phazon Metroids.
