The Command Visor is a visor that was introduced in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. It allows Samus to control her Gunship to perform many tasks. The Command Visor can allow the gunship to land, fire Ship Missiles, perform a bombing run, and grapple large objects that are too heavy to lift by hand. The visor is offline until Rundas saves Samus from Space Pirate ATC's during the attack on Norion. It is required to destroy the Shield Generators on Bryyo so Samus can enter the planet's Leviathan. It is also needed to lift the components for the bomb that is used to destroy the Leviathan's shield on Elysia.
