Template:Enemy-infobox Ki-Hunters (Keyhunters in Super Metroid) are insect-like allies of the Space Pirate introduced in Super Metroid that helped to rebuild Zebes after it was devastated by Samus.[1]

Super Metroid

Samus commonly encounters Ki-Hunters in various parts on Zebes, being absent only in Tourian and Maridia. They will attack Samus by diving towards her then slashing, if Samus destroys the wings of a Ki-Hunter it will spit acid at her.[1]

Metroid: Other M

Ki-Hunters have been seen in the previews for Metroid: Other M indicating that they will most likely be featured.

Metroid Fusion

After Adam speaks to Samus about the Etecoons and Dachoras taking refuge in her ship, X imitating Ki-Hunters start to appear on the B.S.L Research Station. The first Ki-Hunters she encounters are wingless and will shoot acid at her, the Ki-Hunters with wings attack Samus with their powerful stinger that inflicts a high amount of damage if Samus does not have the Gravity Suit.

Manual
