Quad

Quads are Luminoth built machines that were originally used to combat the Ing; but as with other machines, they were turned against their creators by the Ing. They are separated into a Main Body and a Command Module, both are capable of operating individually.

The Main Body attacks with melee attacks such as slashing and are also capable of spinning at a high rate to deflect most attacks. The Command Module, capable of generating shields to protect itself, uses energy based attacks. They Main Body is more armored and less susceptible to weapons fire, but vulnerable when venting heat. While connected, Quads can fire a sustained beam of energy.
