Steamlords are human-shaped machines appearing as enemies in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. They are Elysians that were taken over by the Leviathan Seed launched by Dark Samus. Three Steamlords appear throughout the game, all on Elysia's SkyTown. These Elysians, built by the Chozo, seem to have been made with the purpose of repairing fallen attack bots such as Tinbots and Steambots. They can also attack using an EMP to temporarily disable Samus's visor.

The First Steamlord

The first Steamlord that appears is the only one which has an important role, a mini boss role. Before attacking, this Steamlord appears to follow Samus, or perhaps even lead her. In these appearances, it is intangible and invulnerable to Samus's Beams or Missiles.
