Below are my current projects: Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (as well as some other pages). It will be written in short sentences first, then I'm going to write the plot as I play Echoes so that the information can be as accurate as possible and quotes that only appear once can be referenced.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is a first-person adventure video game that revolves around combat, puzzle-solving, and platform-jumping. It is the second game released in the Prime series, though is chronologically set after Metroid Prime Hunters.

Gameplay

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes takes place on the planets Aether, and its dark twin, Dark Aether. Controls identical to Prime 1. Gameplay similar to Prime 1. Has three new beams with an ammunition system, two new visors.

Use portals to access Aether/Dark Aether. Atmosphere does damage on Dark Aether, damage reduced by acquiring different suits. Light Crystals and Light Beacons used to generate Safe Zones on Dark Aether.

Like Prime 1, equipment at lost beginning, must gain/regain abilities, backtrack, defeat bosses.

Many enemies exist in light and dark versions, dark versions are more resilient and more powerful.

Metroid Prime 2 was given high reviews by many critics. It was the highest rated GameCube game in 2004,[3] it also won IGN's GameCube Game of the Year Award.[9] Many reviewers praised its graphical capabilities as well as the artwork. IGN praised the detail put into Aether, but was critical of Dark Aether's appearance saying "The Dark World can be summed up in a word: purple."[10] Metroid Prime 2 was given the award for best graphics on the GameCube in 2004 and was also placed as the 7th best looking GameCube game by IGN.[11][12] It was placed as the 13th best GameCube game by GameSpy and 15th best by IGN.[13][14] Its sound and music was also praised by reviewers. Many reviewers noted that Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is more difficult than the original Prime, but also commented that it is more rewarding.

The multiplayer included in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes received negative reception. Kristan Reed of EuroGamer said that single player mechanics were not meant to be translated into multiplayer and that players would tire of it easily. Most reviewers said that the multiplayer was average and unnecessary. Some reviewers did say that they enjoyed the multiplayer however.

Several reviewers were critical of the some issues that come with locking onto enemies, but said that it was manageable. Other complaints came from the difficulty increasing in some parts due to a lack of Save Stations.

A-Kul

A-Kul was the Luminoth champion and one of the ten warriors sent to acquire the Sky Temple Keys. Much of the Luminoth equipment Samus uses in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes was previously used by A-Kul.
