Jump is an action preformed by Samus, using her legs and armor to leap into the air. There are many objects and abilities associated with jumping, all are listed below:

• Hi-Jump Boots, boots that allow Samus to jump higher vertical distances and occasionally grant the Spring Ball.
• Space Jump, an ability allowing Samus to jump twice (Prime series) or an infinite amount of times.
  • Space Jump Boots, in the Prime series, the upgrade needed to use the Space Jump.
    • Jump Guardian, in Echoes, the boss guarding the Space Jump Boots.
• Spin Jump, an ability that Samus uses as she jumps forward, spinning in the air.
  • Spin Jump Attack, an attack usable by using the Charge Beam in conjunction with a Spin Jump.
• Wall Jump, an ability allowing Samus to jump off a wall or multiple walls. It requires the Screw Attack in the Prime series.
  • Wall Jump Surface, a special surface in the Prime series against which Wall Jumps can be performed.

    • Infinite Bomb Jump, an oversight in the games, allowing Samus to jump infinite vertical distances by using a series of Bomb Jumps.
• Gravity Boost, an upgrade unique to Echoes, allowing Samus to make a third jump underwater.
