The Hyper Ball, or Hyperball, is the first Hypermode upgrade in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. It is exclusive to Corruption and is obtained after defeating Mogenar, Bryyo's Leviathan's guardian. When Samus is in Morph Ball Mode and activates Hypermode, she can send out what look like streams of electricity into enemies. This electricity's range is up to five meters and can attack even airborne enemies. These streams lock on to multiple enemies, so long as they are all close enough. This upgrade is very useful against Phazon Metroids, since they attack only at close range.
