The Metroid series's most most famous cameo comes in the Super Smash Bros. series. Since the first Super Smash Bros. to Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the Metroid series has been constantly referred to in many ways, the most obvious of which is the appearance of Samus as a character. Both games are developed and owned by Nintendo, allowing easy access to characters without the worry of copyright laws.
