The Spazer Beam is a beam weapon that appeared in Metroid II: Return of Samus and Super Metroid, which allows the Arm Cannon to fire wide shots of energy. It fires 3 needle-like blasts that can penetrate some wall types. The spazer can also be used in conjunction with Power Bombs to execute a Spazer Shield. In Super Metroid, it can not be used with the Plasma Beam.
Metroid Fusion also has a variation of the Spazer Beam named the Wide Beam.
