Trooper Pirate

Beam Troopers are Pirate Troopers featured in Metroid Prime and armed with some of Samus's beam weapons. Using data gathered from battles against Samus, the Pirates reverse-engineered her beam weapons.[1] While the Pirates' versions of the beams are far weaker than the Chozo version, they are still much more powerful than the Pirates' usual weapons. Trooper PIrates are found only in the Phazon Mines and also act as reinforcements to the Omega Pirate.
