The Great Temple is the location of the Main Energy Controller on Aether in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is situated in the middle of the other Luminoth settlements.[1] After the Luminoth were defeated by the Ing in Agon, Torvus, and Sanctuary, they fled here and placed themselves in stasis, with U-Mos staying awake as the Sentinel.[2]
Shortly after Samus enters the Great Temple, she is attacked by a large number of Splinters and eventually the Alpha Splinter, which is quickly possessed by an Ing trying to take the energy from Aether's last Energy Controller.
Enemies
Samus encounters a small amount of enemies in this area. The first time Samus enters Transport A Access, she encounters a swarm on Sandbats. Transport B Access has a small amount of Lightflyers, and in Transport C Access, there are a duo of Harmony Class Drones.
