The Omega Pirate is the largest knowm form Space Pirate, a larger version of an Elite Pirate. It is the boss of the Phazon Mines. It has the ability to cloak itself, fire bombs, and use an elite cannon like its smaller forms. The fight is one of the toughest in the game, with the addition that Space Pirate troopers can be summoned by him in the fight. The Flamethrower is very useful in the fight and can reduce the boss' health by 25% with an accurate shot. Pools of Phazon inhabit the room and can drain Samus's energy very quickly, but after the fight, Samus is awarded the Phazon Suit, which solves the problem.

Trivia

• A very useful technique in the fight is to use Power Bombs under him when he was his shoulder and knee plates, and with good accuracy, it can destroy all of the plates at once.
