The Ascension is a room on the Vesper Defense Outpost that connects the Stasis Bunker to the Fuel Stack. It also teleports Samus to the VDO Gateway. It contains an elevator that levitates Samus from the lower portion of the room to the top. A clear substance below the elevator seemingly prevents anything from falling into space.
