Dark Torvus Bog is the Dark Aether counterpart to Torvus Bog featured in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is the location of one of Dark Aether's Energy Controllers, guarded by Chykka. The surface of Dark Torvus has large amounts of water while the subterranean portion is mostly dry. Dark Torvus is the home to a large amount of Hunter Ing while being completely absent of Warrior Ing.
Samus visits Dark Torvus Bog after she defeats Amorbis in Dark Agon Wastes. She later returned after recovering her Spider Ball from the Spider Guardian in order to reclaim her Power Bombs.
