The Light Suit is a suit which is given to Samus by U-Mos. The suit completely protects Samus from the poisonous atmosphere of Dark Aether. It is indirectly obtained after defeating Quadraxis and transferring the energy from the Ing Hive to Sanctuary Fortress. The suit is required to locate all of the Sky Temple Keys, for it allows Samus to enter Dark Aether water and Ingstorm. Samus can also enter light portals and warp to different temples of Aether that she has returned to normal. It is said to also be part of Chozo technology.
Trivia
- The light suit has several holes on it, from which beams of light are emitted.
- Besides color, the Light Suit resembles Dark Samus' suit appearance in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
- The Light Suit's visor is the first in the series to be non-colored, and transparent at that.
- The fact that the suit is invulnerable to Ingstorm is almost negligable, since it only appears in one area, which evedintally holds no Sky Temple Keys.
