Main Energy Controller

The Main Energy Controller is a room in the Great Temple on planet Aether in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
Description
The room is much larger than the other Energy Controller housings. It hold the primary Energy Controller for the Luminoth's energy system. All the energy from the 3 regional Energy Controllers in the Agon, Torvus, and Sanctuary sectors have their energy refracted into the Main Energy Controller, which links up and activates the Light-Based Teleportation System once they're all reactivated. It also contains U-Mos, the 5th and current Sentinel of Aether. Along the outside, there are several support beams that also contain energy housings, which are seen all over the Temple Grounds. Before leaving, Samus can scan the Luminoth Lore Hologram Projector, which tells of the Luminoth's origins.
First Visit
When Samus walks in, she is mesmerized by the Energy Controller in the center of the room. U-Mos appears to her right, and she aims her Arm Cannon at him. He immediately pleads the Luminoth's story to her, telling of a cosmic object that struck Aether and literally, ripped it into two dimensions. In this dark dimension, lived the Ing, a savage race that began invading Aether and killing off the Luminoth, forcing them to learn the ways of war and defending themselves. He tells Samus the Energy Transfer Module is bonded to Samus and only she has the power to restore the Light of Aether back to the proper temples, and destabilize Dark Aether and destroy it. Samus agrees and sets off on her quest to restore the temples to their former glory. Before she leaves, however, U-Mos updates her Translator Module so she can interpret Violet Holograms.
Subsequent Visits
After Samus restores the Light of Aether to each one of the regional Energy Controllers, Samus must venture back to the Main Energy Controller to speak to U-Mos. If she tries to move onto the next area of the Great Temple to get to the next sector of Aether, a mental shield created by U-Mos will bar her way and can only be deactivated by talking to him.
Final Visit
After Samus revitalizes all the temples, Samus must once again journey back to U-Mos. He tells Samus that Dark Aether is still being supported by one final energy controller and it's guarded by the might Ing of all. He uses the Light of Aether from the three temples to trifurcate the Energy Controller, revealing the Light Suit. Samus takes it and U-Mos informs her of its amazing abilities. He sends Samus on her final mission: to defeat the Ing in the Sky Temple and take the last of the energy and end Dark Aether once and for all. The Light-Based Teleporation System is now online and can be used by Samus at her will. All the energy controllers on Aether are now open and can be used to teleport, which is especially helpful in finding the Sky Temple Keys.
