Weblings are spider-like predators found only in Dark Agon. They wait in their web for prey. The Webling and the web can be destroyed with a shot from the Light Beam. There is a similar, much more resilient creature also found in Dark Agon called Ing Webtraps.[1]

In Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc, they make an appearance, but only the Dark Webbing, which they generate, is mentioned.[2]
