Ing Webtraps are creatures used by the Ing to block off areas. They are similar to the Webling but are far more resilient, being invulnerable to many forms of attack. These barriers can only be removed when the Ing that commands them is killed.[1]

Samus encounters Ing Webtraps in the Battleground of Dark Agon Wastes shorty before recovering a Dark Temple Key that had been taken by a group of Warrior Ing. Once she dispatches the Ing, Samus never again encounters Webtraps.
