Kraid or Kraid's Lair is an area located in the depths of Brinstar on Zebes and is the home of Kraid. It has been featured in Metroid (known as Mini-Boss Hideout I), Metroid: Zero Mission, and Super Metroid. Rooms with pools of acid are common in both Metroid and Metroid: Zero Mission. While it is a part of Brinstar in Super Metroid, Samus must cut through Maridia in order to access it.
