Light of Aether
The Light of Aether is a collection of planetary energy of the planet Aether. It is comprised of various types of energy including solar and geothermal,[1] and it is used to power the machines of the Luminoth. The Light of Aether is stored using the Energy Controllers in the temples in Temple Grounds, Agon Wastes, Torvus Bog, and Sanctuary Fortress. Using the Luminoth device capable of harvesting this precious planetary energy, the Ing began stealing the Light of Aether, pushing Aether to the verge of collapse.[2] The Energy Transfer Module becomes fused with Samus and with it she is able to recover the stolen energy.[3]
