Omega Ridley is a form that Ridley took after his defeat on Norion. Omega Ridley has only appeared in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Samus fights Omega Ridley as the boss guarding the Pirate Homeworld's Leviathan seed. The reward for defeating him is the Hyper Grapple.

- Omega Ridley may be the largest boss Samus has ever fought, along with Kraid, Quadraxis, Flaahgra, Omega Pirate, Mogenar, and Amorbis.
- Omega Ridley has the honor of being the only single creature that shows up on Samus's radar as more than one creature in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
- One interesting thing to note is that although Omega Ridley was destroyed, Ridley X comes back in Metroid Fusion, which is chronologically after Corruption
