Grobnite is a solid substance mentioned only once in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It makes up part of a panel in Sanctuary Fortress that resembles glass.
The scan data indicates that the panel of Grobnite mixed with Denzium was weakened by Space Pirate forces.[1] The Denzium deposits can be destroyed by a Power Bomb, shattering the panel.
