Universal Ammo Expansions are expansions found only in Metroid Prime Hunters. They increase the amount of Universal Ammo that Samus can hold at one time by thirty. Like all expansions, they are often hidden and require some experimentation with Samus's upgrades to acquire.

Max ammo for the Sub-weapon increases by 30.
