The Hyper Missile is the second Hypermode upgrade and the third Missile upgrade in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption after the Ice Missiles and the Seeker Missile. It is acquired after defeating Helios in Elysia's Leviathan. It takes up half of the Phazon level in Hypermode and is equivalent to ten standard Missiles. It is very useful against most Phazon-based enemies, such as Omega Ridley and Aurora Unit 313. However, Hyper Missiles are useless against enemies or obstacles that are resistant to Missiles, such as Assault Pirate Troopers.
