Sanctuary Fortress

Sanctuary Fortress is a Luminoth stronghold high in the cliffs of Aether. It was the first area on Aether settled by the Luminoth.[1] Nearly all enemies Samus encounters here are mechanoids built by the Luminoth to combat the Ing but have since been turned against their creators.[2] Samus also battles a small number of Pirate Commandos and Aerotroopers here.
