The Restricted Laboratory is an area in Metroid Fusion where the Galactic Federation created Metroids. It is accessed through Sector 6 (NOC). Samus enters the area after obtaining the Wave Beam. She examines the area, but before getting any further, the SA-X causes an explosion. A Countdown starts, and Samus escapes into Sector 1 (SRX). The entire laboratory detaches and explodes, but Samus has already learned of the Federation's covert operation.
