Talloric Alloy seems to be a common material. It exists on many mechanisms and covers used by both the [[Galactic Federation]], [[Space Pirate]]s, the [[Chozo]], and even [[Bryyonian]]s. It's origin is unspecified, though as an alloy it must contain some sort of metal within it. It is similar in function to [[Sandstone]] and could possibly be what [[Bomb Block]]s are composed of.

Talloric Alloy is a type of material found on various planets in Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This material is extremely vulnerable to concussive Morph Ball Bombs,[1] and cracked or damaged structures that contain the material can usually be destroyed by a single Bomb. Talloric Alloy is often used to cover small tunnels and maintenance hatches, allowing Samus to drop a Bomb then enter through the area with her Morph Ball.

Talloric Alloy seems to be a common material. It exists on many mechanisms and covers used by the Galactic Federation, Space Pirates, the Chozo, and even Bryyonians. It is similar in function to Sandstone and possibly could be what Bomb Blocks are composed of.

Scan Data[edit | edit source]

Scan Data from Metroid Prime (Drain cover)

Fractures detected in Talloric Alloy drain cover. The cover still functions, but its integrity is unstable.[2]

Scan Data from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Rocks)
Located in: Great Temple - Transport A Access

Section has taken heavy damage. Talloric Alloy within section has fractured, leaving area unstable.[3]

Scan Data from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Tunnel cap)

Object analysis complete.
Tunnel cap is composed of Talloric Alloy. Combat damage has destabilized the cap considerably.[4]

Scan Data from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Eroded rocks)

Structural analysis complete.
Eroded rock section contains Talloric Alloy. Numerous fractures present.[5]

Scan Data from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Fractured object)
Located in: Agon Wastes - Agon Temple

Structural analysis complete.
Object is composed of Talloric Alloy. Stress fractures detected; structural integrity critical.[6]

Scan Data from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Grating)

Structural analysis complete.
Grating section is composed of Talloric Alloy. Structural integrity critical.[7]

Scan Data from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Block)

Structural analysis complete.
Block is composed of Talloric Alloy. Erosion has weakened it considerably.[8]
