Metroid Prime Remastered is a remastered version of Metroid Prime that was released for the Nintendo Switch in 2023. It was announced during a Nintendo Direct on February 8, 2023[1] and released digitally the same day, with a physical version set to be released on February 22, 2023 in North America and on March 3, 2023 in other regions.

Metroid Prime Remastered features updated models, textures, audio, and controls.

Controls

Metroid Prime Remastered features three control options: a modern dual-analog option, one based on the control setup from the original Nintendo GameCube version, and one based on the control setup from the Wii version.

Difficulty options

A Casual difficulty mode, which reduces the amount of damage taken, was introduced.

Bonus content

In addition to concept art from the original game, concept art from the remaster, a Soundtrack Gallery, and a 3D Character Gallery can be unlocked.
