The GM-42 "Growler" Class Turret is a defense turret created by the Galactic Federation that is found in the Trooper Security Station in Temple Grounds. The "Growler" Class Turrets are lightly armored and can be easily destroyed. Several copies of this turret have been made by the Space Pirates, and they are renamed "Humility" Class Turrets.

The GM-42 "Growler" Class Turret is a dated design, though still quite effective as a point-defense system. It is lightly armored, and fast-moving targets can evade its tracking system. Several copies of the system exist, including the Space Pirate "Humility" Class automated turret.^[1]
