Bloggs are a species of highly aggressive aquatic predators found in submerged portions of Torvus Bog. They attack their prey by ramming them, but as noted in the logbook entry for Dark Bloggs, they are also capable of launching sonic bursts that can confuse their prey.^[1]

When hit by a powerful weapon, such as the Charge Beam or a Missile, Bloggs turn their attention to the attacker. Samus can exploit this aggressive behavior by firing into their open maws to destroy them.

The Blogg uses speed and agility to close in on prey. It will batter foes with a ramming attack, then use its three tooth-filled maws to finish the job. Bloggs have a weak spot inside their mouths: the rest of their bodies are covered with a thick, damage-resistant hide.^[2]
