Like [[Warrior Ing]], the Jump Guardian can fire transdimensional energy beams at Samus as well as slash with its razor sharp legs, but with the Space Jump Boots in its possession, the Jump Guardian has gained abilities not present in a Warrior Ing. When it jumps, it's shield is in effect until it lands and dissipates as well as making a massive, slowing-moving shockwave when it lands. When the Jump Guardian gets down to 1/4 health, it rapidly picks up the pace, running around the safe zone and jumping more, which means more shield time. It becomes very difficult to hit it. Once defeated, a cutscene plays in which the Ing dies and gives up its powerful item to Samus.

The Jump Guardian is the Warrior Ing that stole Samus's Space Jump Boots. Its abilities are nearly identical to that of Warrior Ing, though the Jump Guardian can jump much further and create shock waves upon landing. It also is capable of generating an impenetrable shield while preparing to jump. Samus battles it in the Judgment Pit of Dark Agon Wastes.

Battle[edit | edit source]

The Jump Guardian is invisible until Samus steps in the safe zone in the middle of the Judgment Pit. It then begins to attack as a normal Warrior Ing would, firing transdimensional energy and, if too close, swiping it's razor sharp claws at Samus. The first phase of the battle consists of this at a normal pace that makes it relatively easy to damage the Guardian. As it progresses, the Guardian moves faster and faster and it increasingly harder to land a beam shot on.
