Sandbats are minor, desert-dwelling enemies. They only appear in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. These creatures appear mainly in Agon Wastes. Sandbats are tan and maroon in color and have short wing spans. they fly in packs mostly for protection and hunting. Sandbats have low defensive capabilities and can be killed with virtually any weapons.
