Phaazoids are floating life forms made out of Phazon. They appear exclusively in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. They can only be harmed by Phazon-based attacks. After a Phaazoid is killed, it will divide itself into two Phaazoids. Phaazoids attack by firing Phazon-based projectiles at their target. There is a stronger variety known as the Red Phaazoid. They are found on Bryyo, SkyTown, Elysia, Eastern SkyTown, Elysia, and the Pirate Homeworld after each planet's respective Leviathan is destroyed.
