Sporbs are creatures encountered by Samus in Torvus Bog on Aether. They will attack Samus by firing toxic projectiles at her. They are also capable of extending their bodies to grab onto her if she has entered Morph Ball mode.[1]

After obtaining the Spider Ball, Samus defeats a Darkling Sporb known as the Power Bomb Guardian.

Logbook

The hanging Sporb sits patiently until a potential meal is detected. A burst of poisoned needles is the Sporb's primary means of attack. It can also extend its body over short distances, gripping small targets within its powerful jaws. Sporbs wither when exposed to dark energy, making them vulnerable to other weapon system.[1]
