The Lightflyer is a small, light emitting Mechanoid that was designed by the Luminoth. Like many of their Mechanoids, the Lightflyers turned against their creators and now serve the Ing. Any living organisms that approach a Lightflyer become its target, being attacked by a small burst of energy that inflicts minor damage.

A Safe Zone is created whenever one is destroyed on Dark Aether that lasts until the Lightflyer reforms itself.
