Advanced Pirate Trooper

Template:Enemy-infobox Advanced Space Pirate Troopers are Space Pirate Troopers that wear an additional layer of ablative armor. These troopers are first seen in the form of an Advanced Shield Trooper in the Temple of Bryyo after the Leviathan shield generator has been destroyed; they can be scanned as an Advanced Pirate Trooper after their shield is pulled off. The additional armor makes the trooper more resistant to most attacks, but is susceptible to Missiles; the Hyper Beam is also effective against them. Once their armor is broken, they'll become regular Pirate Troopers.

Advanced Pirate Troopers wear an additional layer of ablative armor. Explosive attacks are recommended to break the armor away. Basic armament includes an assault rifle and energy scythe, both powered by Phazon. EMP grenades are often employed against power-armored foes. A new Dash Jet system provides increased mobility.
