The Aerie is a room in Sanctuary Fortress from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

The Aerie is the highest point in the Sanctuary Fortress and one of the highest points on Aether itself. It only accessible by a long elevator from the Fortress below. It has a large Spider Ball track in the center and the Echo Visor on a ledge at the top. It offers a stunning view of Aether in the distance. It also contains a Portal to Dark Aether.
The Aerie contains the Echo Visor and is the location for the second battle with Dark Samus. After Samus defeats Dark Samus, a multi-dimensional Spider Ball puzzle must be solved to reach the Echo Visor perched on a high ledge.
