The Command Chamber is a room in the Temple Grounds. The room connects the Hive Tunnel to the Hive Storage. The room has two main sections connected by a Morph Ball tunnel. Federation Marine corpses can be found throughout the room. The first area of the room circles clockwise. Four Worker Splinters can be found here. In the middle of this circle is a large security door. The door can be opened using a nearby Scan Terminal, but that terminal is inactive initially. This door is supported by a number of bars that Samus can only get past by going underneath using the Morph Ball. At the far end of the circle is the Morph Ball tunnel connecting the areas. This tunnel has a gate in it that must be destroyed with a Morph Ball Bomb. The second section is circular with a central pillar. This pillar has a Bomb Slot on the far end that will activate the Scan Terminal in the other room. Using this bomb slot will also cause the Marine corpses to become possessed by Ing to become Dark Troopers. Behind the security door is an area filled with Dark Troopers and cocoons. The door to the Hive Storage is also in this area. A total of eleven Dark Troopers will appear. Two Trooper Logs can be obtained here.
