The room connects the [[GFMC Compound]] to the [[Transport to Sanctuary Fortress (Temple Grounds)|Transport to Sanctuary Fortress]]. The room consists of two hallways made of glass, the first of which is longer. There is a main chamber in the center, and another chamber on the Transport side. The Fortress Transport Access is a room in the Temple Grounds. The room connects the GFMC Compound to the Transport to Sanctuary Fortress. The room consists of two hallways made of glass, the first of which is longer. There is a main chamber in the center, and another chamber on the Transport side.

Both of the hallways are defended by a Luminoth Turret. The central chamber contains a shaft of light that is a part of the Light-Based Teleportation System. If Samus steps into the light while wearing the Light Suit, she can ride the beam into a room that is empty except for an Energy Tank.

The end chamber is empty except for an entry of Luminoth Lore that can be scanned with the violet upgrade to the Translator Module.
