Luminoth Turrets are powerful automated turrets constructed by the Luminoth. They were placed in key areas during their war with the Ing, serving as their first line of defense.[1] These turrets fire two bursts of energy in rapid succession, however agile targets are capable of evading these blasts. Samus first encounters Luminoth Turrets in the Fortress Transport Access, then later in several rooms of the Sanctuary Fortress. All of her weaponry is capable of damaging the turrets, however they are resilient enough to take multiple hits before being destroyed.
