The Dark Oasis is a room in the Dark Agon Wastes in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is the Dark Counterpart of the Main Reactor.
The room connects the Oasis Access, the Hall of Stairs, and Ing Cache 3, by a White Hatch. The room also contains a one-way Portal to the Main Reactor.
The room consists of an outer walkway that goes along the west, south, and east walls, and a central room. The doors to Ing Cache 3, the Oasis Access, and the Hall of Stairs are on the west, south, and east walls respectively. Two deposits of Phazon are located in to two southern corners. The east section has two Phazon containers next to a one-way Portal. The center area can only be accessed by destroying a Denzium wall in the southern section. Three Light Crystals are scattered throughout the hallway.
The center area is filled with dark water and Ingstorm. A Flying Ing Cache can be found in the water, which contains a Sky Temple Key. Due to the nature of dark water, Samus cannot obtain the key without the Light Suit.
Four Inglets inhabit this room, and are located throughout the outer hallway. The central area is inhabited by Ingstorm and a Flying Ing Cache.
