Mekenobites are Luminoth-built mechanoids found in Sanctuary Fortress. They magnetically attach to objects with their two arms and will firing homing projectiles. Mekenobites can only be destroyed if both arms are detached causing them to fall to the ground and explode. This can normally only be done by using Seeker Missiles to hit both arms simultaneously. Samus can also destroy them with the Screw Attack.
