The Temple Grounds is an area on Aether located below the Great Temple and between the three domains of the Luminoth. This is also where Samus's Gunship crash lands.

The Temple Grounds is a mountainous area that is located just below the Great Temple. This is the only area that has access to the Great Temple. This area also has access to all the other light areas in the game which makes this the main area of the game. Finally this is where Samus Aran crash lands, and where the Galactic Federation fleet crash lands.
When the G.F.S. Tyr landed on Aether, its crew set up a base in the Temple Grounds near the Splinter Hive. After suffering attacks by Ing-possessed Splinters, they set up numerous barriers and Growler Class Turrets to defend themselves. Despite their valiant efforts, there were no survivors.

The Temple Grounds is an area on Aether located below the Great Temple and between the three domains of the Luminoth. This is also where Samus's Gunship crash lands.

Samus encounters a variety of enemies in the Temple Grounds, such as the Dark Troopers, the possessed remains of the G.F.S. Tyr's crew, and many swarms of War Wasps. She also encounters the few surviving Growler Class Turrets.

Because of its central location on the planet, Samus travels through the Temple Grounds numerous times to access other areas on Aether.
