The Plaza Walkway is a tunnel in the Phendrana Drifts. The tunnel connects the Chozo Ice Temple to the Chapel of the Elders. The tunnel can only be accessed in the Morph Ball. There are two pillars blocking the path through the tunnel, So Samus must destroy some metal blocks wit Morph Ball Bombs to get beneath the pillars to destroy a vulnerable part, thereby creating a path through.
Trivia
- The metal blocks that Samus must destroy in this room will have red cracks in them when hit with one Bomb, as if they were filled with lava. This does not make sense as the Phendrana Drifts have an extremely cold climate. The most logical explanation is that these blocks were originally programmed to be used in the Magmoor Caverns, which is an extremely hot area. These blocks were also used in Transport Tunnel A.
