The Hive Totem is a room in the Chozo Ruins. It is accessed from the Totem Access and leads to the Transport Access North.

The room is relatively open, consisting of a central island engraved with Chozo runes surrounded by toxic water. This island is connected by a bridge to the north end of the room. When Samus first tries to cross the bridge, the water level rises, trapping her on the island, and the Hive Mecha activates. A number of Ram War Wasps, controlled by the Hive Mecha, also attack.

After Samus destroys the Mecha, the bridge reappears, and she can cross it to obtain the Missile Launcher on the other side. The door to Transport Access North is also accessed from here, but it is covered with a Missile Door Lock.
