The Reactor Core Entrance is a room on the Frigate Orpheon. The entrance, which connects to Cargo Freight Lift to Deck Gamma, seals shut behind Samus once she enters.

The main exit to the Reactor Core is a door that can only be opened by inserting a metallic sphere, such as the Morph Ball, into a specialized clamp. The clamp must be activated by scanning a nearby terminal. A small side room also contains a Save Station - incidentally, the only Save Station on Orpheon and the first one encountered in the game. Though divided from the main room by a Blue Door, the area containing the Save Station is considered part of the Reactor Core Entrance on the map.

Four Space Pirate carcasses lay on the floor, and two Auto Defense Turrets adorn the wall. Otherwise, the room is unremarkable.
